Personal Legacy Matching Grants

Increase Your Impact Year-Round!

When you make or log an eligible donation of any amount into this Community Giving Portal throughout the year, it is automatically considered for a dollar-for-dollar matching grant.

HOW MATCHING GRANTS WORK

Support any Qualifying Nonprofit

  • Eligible donations and/or pledges to qualifying non-Partner Organizations may receive a $1:$1 match
  • A combined total of $100,000 in matching grants will be donated to eligible non-Partner Organizations throughout the year
  • Individual employees may be matched an annual maximum of $10,000

Give to a Partner Organization

  • An additional $30,000 in matching funds is reserved for Partner Organizations
  • Matching grants awarded through this funding pool do not count against an employee’s annual $10,000 matching grant maximum

To be eligible for a match, logged financial donations must have occurred within the current calendar year. Future payroll deduction pledges made during the Community Giving Campaign may also be eligible.
Review the Legacy Matching Grant brochure for additional details, requirements, and restrictions.

VOLUNTEER GRANTS

Five employees that log or pledge 5+ volunteer hours (combined total) into the Community Giving Portal will be randomly drawn to recommend a $1,000 grant to any qualifying nonprofit of their choice.

Volunteer hours must take place within the current calendar year, and must be entered by the close of the annual Community Giving Campaign.

Support is provided by the Carlson Family Foundation, which is a separate legal entity from Carlson and its businesses, and only provides charitable support to qualifying non-profit organizations.
